Raise your glass, ya!

"I love my job!"
Oktoberfest, the world's largest beer festival, is held annually in Munich, Germany. Each year, this 16-day binge drinking party hosts over 6 million people that come from all over the world. They drink 1.5 million gallons of beer and chomp 200,000 sausages and 480,000 spit-roasted chickens!
You don't have to travel to Munich to tip a big glass of beer though - you can celebrate with us during this fine fall holiday!
Ok, we don't have beer-bellied men in lederhosen serenading you or blonde-haired beer maidens carrying up to 8 beers at a time in huge glass beer steins. (Did you know those women train for months to build up the stamina to carry those steins all day?!)
No huge steins at Drake's, but we'll top that with our beer towers of craft beer in 60, 90 and 120 oz! Feel free to clank your beer glasses together and shout "Prost!" to toast the traditional way.
If you're a lover of fine polka music, folk singing and dancing...you may be out of luck. However, we do encourage you to wear any lederhosen you might have laying around the house.
Embarrassed of your scrawny calves?? Don't be! You can now purchase Bavarian foam rubber calf implants on the internet to stuff into your knee length socks! Thanks, internet!
Back to the subject of beer...did you know that only SIX breweries are allowed to serve beer at the main Oktoberfest in
Munich? Yep - only the local Augustiner, Hacker-Pschorr, Hofbrau, Lowenbrau, Paulaner and Spaten.
The good news for all of you not traveling to Munich this year is that we have over 24 craft beers to help you celebrate this auspicious holiday at Drake's! PROST!
